The Bar
Horse Bazaar is a unique fusion of art, music, technology and alcohol. Upon entry one is greeted by a warm and welcoming playground for the senses. Horse Bazaar offers all the right ingredients for a relaxed catch-up with friends. The leafy sunny front area and free wireless internet make for a serene serviced daytime oasis as an alternative to your desk. Or if late night shenanigans are more your style, the friendly staff are willing to pave your way into oblivion – indulge yourself with a fine cocktail and a late night boogie.
The central feature of Horse Bazaar is an immersive projection environment. A video projection surface of 20 metres wraps around the banquette seating at the rear of the bar providing the perfect surface for experimenting with virtual decor. Submissions of digital art for exhibition within the bar are always welcome.

The cultural programming calender, visual arts, live music, and eclectic range of djing at Horse Bazaar are guaranteed to serve up taste expanding treats for any cultural aficionado. Our music is an eclectic mix, not bound to any particular period or genre. We are excited by good music, pure and simple. We have an extensive inhouse collection that is diverse enough for everyone to have their fancies tickled and horizons broadened. Contemporary or ancient, traditional or out-there, our only pre-requisite is that it sounds and feels good. Whether you're chewing the fat or some of our tasty morsels, your ears won’t be ignored. The auditory experience is a crucial element of the Horse Bazaar ambience. If you ask nicely the staff may even be able to find your tune.
Our stable of regular muso's, jockeys and sonic manipulators also reflect our diversity of interests and quality of tastes – from jumping up and down to gypsy mahala tunes, to chilling to dubbed out sounds, to taking in some live local electronica and experimental sounds, to classical recitals, to bumpin n grinding to a late night dance session.
